Time to buy from sellers directly

Ensuring loyalty for a brand is tricky affair. You can take a decade, do all the right things, and build your identity and passionate loyalty towards it, but it will need a single bad incident to ruin it, sometimes fatally.

I just got off an Ecommerce website after leaving bad feedback about a non-responsive vendor who delivered the wrong item. Needless to add, it was frustrating that the vendor refused to acknowledge my concern. To make matters worse, the portal claimedthat it is not their responsibility for the reseller.

I wondered why we cannot have an exchange that offers better experience to both the sellers and buyers. I stumbled upon Phillio, which is seemingly making that very attempt. On Phillio, you can search and find a seller at the origin of produce – across South Asia, and Africa.

On the face of it, Phillio is just an exchange that brings together sellers and buyers, and then some more. But dig a little bit deeper, and you begin to realise why it is so important to buy from a seller at the origin of produce – it is not only less priced, but the chances are it is genuine, and is eliminating multiple middleman, hence lowering the cost further. Its a win-win for buyers and sellers.

Phillio is encouraging sellers, who hitherto never ventured beyond their neighbourhoods, to offer products to the whole world, have their own global shop. Sellers from the Philippines to South Africa are now enabled to reach customers anywhere on the planet, and sell products to customers all over.
